Wood on Chinese Antiques
- WOW & ZEN covers the globe to bring unique hard-to-find items at
great values that only the Internet infrastructure can allow.
- All products are sourced directly through our operations in
China, Thailand and Brazil.
Standard Delivery:
Your furniture order will be delivered and unloaded for you to
your curbside. For a small additional fee, we can have your order
delivered to the front door of your house or building entrance (call
or email us for pricing.)
You will receive a call from the driver to make delivery arrangements
with you about 3 or 4 days after your order has shipped from our
facility.
White Glove Delivery:
Furniture ordered with White Glove delivery will be delivered
and set up as part of the White Glove service. Your furniture will be
brought into your home, unpacked and set up. Our white glove service
covers up to two flights of stairs -- any other special delivery
requests are subject to additional charges. The packaging materials
will be left with you.
If you cancel an order prior to the
shipment leaving our warehouse in China, we will gladly refund the
full amount of the order.
But if the order is already shipped
from our warehouse in China, it will be subject to a 30% cancellation
fee. This fee covers some of the cost of importing and warehousing in
the US.
Custom orders require 50%
non-cancelable, non-returnable deposit.
Item cancelled due to any reason
(including damage, lost item by trucking company) will disqualify an
order from Free Shipping (on a two-item order that turns into a
one-item order following the cancellation).
WOW & ZEN does not accept returns or issue
any credits or refunds for custom ordered merchandise.
Should you choose to refuse your order
at the point of delivery, or if a delivery attempt is made following a
confirmed delivery date and arrangements have not been made for the
order to be received, or if there are building issues such as elevator
or stairwell capacity, you will be subject to the following charges:
- All shipping charges incurred during
the delivery process to you, and back to our warehouse. Through our
website you pay a discounted shipping rate or receive free shipping,
You will be responsible for our actual full shipping costs and not
the discounted or free shipping rates in the event of a refusal.
- A 35% restocking fee (this fee helps
defer the cost of freight from China to the US).
All returns must be approved by WOW & ZEN.
All authorized returns must be made within 3 business days days of
receiving the goods.
Refunds for refused and returned
merchandise will be equal to the cost of the merchandise refused less
all shipping charges incurred during the delivery process to you, and
back to our warehouse. Through our website you pay a discounted
shipping rate or receive free shipping. You will be responsible for
our actual full shipping costs and not the discounted or free shipping
rates in the event of a return. Returns will only be accepted and
credits issued if the merchandise is returned back to our warehouse
undamaged in its original condition and in its original packaging.
Antique accessories are subject to a 30% restocking fee. WOW & ZEN cannot
accept returns for custom ordered merchandise.
All paintings have a 30-day money back
guarantee. Returned items must be received in original condition.
Refund amount is determined by the purchase price minus shipping and
handling of $30 per painting, and $60 per scroll painting. Custom
order item are not returnable. Please contact us prior to returning a
painting or for any questions.
All damaged merchandise claims must be
filed with our customer service department within three days of the
receipt of your order. WOW & ZEN reserves the right to repair or fully
refund any piece of merchandise. It will be at our discretion to
have a professional furniture medic inspect damaged merchandise to
determine whether the item in question will be repaired or returned.

clear our bank before shipment can be made)
Payment in full must be made prior to shipping out. Note that when
purchasing pieces that are en route from China, that a non-refundable
30% deposit will secure the piece, with balance due once the shipment
has arrived in our warehouse and we are preparing to ship to you.
Your order process is
secured with the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL provides you
with the freedom to shop online without the fear of your credit card
information being stolen. This encryption compares to a combination
lock that has several trillions of combinations. There are three ways
that indicate whether you're on a secure web page:
- All URL's (web addresses) that
require and use an SSL connection start with https: instead of http:
- The key or padlock on your browser
screen will become solid.
- Security Alert messages may popup
while moving between regular and secure pages.
We at WOW & ZEN take your privacy as
seriously as you do. To help ensure your privacy, we use the most
up-to-date encryption technology to keep your personal information
secure. This includes your billing, credit card, and account
information. None of this can be read as it travels to our system.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal information,
such as name, email address, physical address, phone numbers, buying
history, etc., without your permission. Your information stays here,
period. You do not have to worry about receiving unsolicited email
from other companies or individuals as a result of shopping with
us. Every email newsletter comes with a link to unsubscribe.
We do, on occasion, send out an email announcement to inform our
customers when we add a major new feature to our website. Once again,
those email addresses are not shared with anyone.

on Tools at the top of the browser, select Internet Options, click on

make sure it is enabled.
- If you use Netscape, you can check
and change the status of your SSL setting by clicking on Security at
the top of the browser, select Navigator on the left column, and make
sure SSL 2.0 is checked under Advanced Security (SSL) Configuration.
You can check and change the cookies setting by clicking on Edit at
the top of the browser, select Preferences, click Advanced and make
sure "Accept all cookies" is set.
Chinese Antique Furniture has been made
from wood that has not been kiln dried and is used to a climate that
has a humidity level of 70% on a year round basis. Therefore when
moved from a temperate climate with such a consistent high humidity
level, the wood, as a natural material, will expand/contract as it
adjusts to its new climate. Many pieces have been made with floating
panels on tops and doors so as to accommodate this movement. However,
it can also occur in other areas of the furniture. Each piece of
furniture reacts differently as it "settles in". Although
not necessarily the case with every piece, one must expect the
development of "character lines" (as we have affectionately
come to call them) in any Chinese Antique, to some degree or another.
Do note that the occurrence of such does not affect the structural
integrity of any of our pieces, but rather becomes a part of its
allure.
