Step 1:

The concept artwork is transferred to a piece of reclaimed antique wood.

Step 2:

The carving process begins, tracing over the drawing.

Step 3:

The master craftsman removes the bulk of excess material -- a meticulous, labor intensive step.

Step 4:

Fine detail is delicately carved. This requires great precision and mastery.

Step 5:

The final product will be surfaced, stained, and glossed according to specification.
